Devious Journal Entry

Fri Mar 6, 2009, 7:28 AM
I'm incredibly pissed right now. I was up til 2:30 this morning studying for a Government exam. I walk in to class at 8 and WE DON'T HAVE THE FUGGING EXAM. So now I'm studying for my History exam at 12, which I could have been studying for last night, but due to lack of communication from my Govt professor, I didn't. Gimme props if you've been there.

  • Listening to: Another Body Drops - Cypress Hill
  • Reading: Something for my History exam

I just have a question because of the copyright that the staff of deviantart had to do removing one of my cards. Did you draw the pictures yourself or did you find them online?
:iconthehunter13:
Found them online. I did, however, put copyright info in the info box, like what company issued the artwork, where I got the card template from, and the company that created MTG. IDK if that makes a difference but I did get some guy bitching about it. If they start deleting mine, it's not a problem. Hope things get better for you though. Which one did they delete?

They deleted the MugenLiger. That was from my collection for making the "Zoids". Some user named "=LizardPie" is talking about me with copyrights. Just watch out for that person too. Here was something about crediting things that this person showed me to the link:

Does "Crediting" let me use whatever I want?
You must obtain written permission from the proper and legal owner of any work which you wish to use, credit alone does not replace this requirement.

Explicit permission is not required when you choose to use valid stock resources. Please check your sources carefully to ensure that they are valid stock.

Hope that helps for the both of us. Thanks for replying back. I do appreciate for the comments on the cards, help and all that. Thanks!
:iconthehunter13:
Again, if they delete my stuff, it's not that big of an issue. I mean, as long as we're not using it for profit, but rather as a part of our own creativity, I really don't see a problem with it. People use these pictures all over the internet all of the time. Now if we were outright stealing them, as in passing them off as our own work, I'd see a big issue with it. I've actually reported a guy for tracing an illustration from a Magic card, renaming it, and passing it off as his own. Just don't be pulling any of that crap and I think you'll be fine

I appreciate your help too!
